On Thursday, January 19th, our Founder was honored with being the keynote speaker for the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce Dinner.  We would like to extend our congratulations to the evenings award recipients.  We also would like to recognize the hard work of the past President, Tracy Keen and welcome the new President Greg Sapp.  It was a privilege to speak to such a generous and esteemed crowd.  Thank you Cheryl Hamilton for having us and Patti Danner for introducing us.  It was a great night for all!  While there was barley a dry eye by nights end, the culmination of the evening raised over $300 towards the Romans Warrior Foundation $1 Challenege and tickets sales netted over $770 towards the Foundation itself.  Again, Thank You Greene County, Indiana for your generosity.

Saturday, January 21st, Brian was asked to speak to the membership of the Hubert VFD located in Hubert, NC.  Brian retains loyalty to the area and the citizens of the Hubert community and was honored to be the guest speaker for the evening.  The message was simple; Teamwork, Volunteerism, and Community.  The importance of volunteerism is to selflessly commit, without recognition, to assist others.  In this case, the men and women of the Hubert Volunteer Fire Department responded to over 400 calls to response with a large number supporting mutual aid departments.  These men and women are known as the Hubert Guardians and do a fantastic job assisting the community who supports them.

The Weld Shop

The story goes, there once was a Marine named Gunnery Sergeant Steven Gullickson.  This Marine, gave the world to many over the years.  His family, his Marines, strangers that became family, and even those who he never knew.  GySgt Gullickson served this country giving 20 years to the Marine Corps - living the ethos God, Country, Corps, and Family.  There are many stories that can describe GySgt Gullickson but none are more profound and defined then when you look in his wife's eyes, his reflection can still be seen.  GySgt Gullickson served his last watch with us March 1st, 2020 at 43 years young.

His legacy echos through the halls of eternity.

His giving heart, his selfless contributions to others, his country, his community, is why we are proud to call our Headquarters

'The Weld Shop.'

You see, Gullickson was a welder by trade.  In a weld shop, the masters of their craft are often handed a load of scrap and expected to make a masterpiece, after all, its where everything comes together.

In his Weld Shop, we house the Romans Warrior Foundation and Erin's Purpose.  Two NonProfit Organizations that share a Steve's Vision to impact not just a community, but the heart within.

Erin's Purpose brings to us Faith Based youth programs.  This is an important part of our joined mission as the youth of today will be the leaders of tomorrow.  While our missions are independent, our paths crossed allowing for us to coexist and work closely to ensure each mission is met.

The Romans Warrior Foundation will continue to meet the mission and needs of our Nations Veterans, First Responders, and Gold Star Families.  We will continue to meet this mission and the needs of our community in every way we can.

We thank you for your continued interest, support, and generosity.
